FAQ's
What is the difference between handloom sarees and machine-made sarees?
Answer:
Handloom sarees are crafted by skilled artisans using traditional, manual weaving techniques. These sarees are made with natural fibers such as cotton, silk, or wool, and each piece is unique, reflecting the craftsmanship and artistry of the weaver. On the other hand, machine-made sarees are produced on automated weaving machines, which allow for faster production and are typically less expensive. However, they lack the personal touch, intricate details, and individuality found in handwoven sarees.
How do I care for my handloom saree?
Answer:
To maintain the beauty and longevity of your handloom saree:
dry clean your saree to avoid any damage from washing.
use mild detergent in cold water and avoid wringing the saree.
direct sunlight to prevent fading.
fold it carefully to avoid creases and store it in a cotton or muslin bag to protect it from dust.

FAQs
How many days it takes to weave a banarasi saree
It can take upto 45 to 60 days to prepare a pure handloom banarasi saree
Examine the Zari Work
Authentic Banarasi sarees use genuine zari, which is traditionally made of pure gold or silver threads wrapped around a copper wire. Genuine zari has a subtle, soft luster, not an overly bright or metallic glare.
